Wall Street closes lower as US GDP falls short
World stocks fell on Friday on news the US economy grew more slowly than expected in the last quarter of 2011, while the euro rose on hopes of an imminent deal on Greece's debt that could help avert a disorderly default. The Dow Jones closed down 74.17 points, or 0.58%, at 12,660.46.
NAVs end higher as markets gain
The markets delivered stunning performance for the forth consecutive week led by huge inflow of foreign money.The BSE benchmark rose 156.80 points, to end at 17,233.98 and the NSE benchmark moved up 46.40 points, to close at 5,204.70.
